Focus Energy supplies energy with consideration. Focus Energy is a knowledge-based, project-oriented organisation. The company develops solutions based on skills and experience built up over more than 30 years in the field of heat production and boilers.

Solutions are developed on the basis of ongoing dialogue to identify the needs of the customer and subsequently pinpointing the optimal solution. The dialogue continues through the design phase and the actual construction of the installation. It does not stop there: the working relationship remains in effect after the installation comes online – in the form of service and follow up from Focus Energy.

Project management has become one of Focus Energys core com-petences. Years and years of experience and know-how ensure that the company can guide the process all the way from idea to commissioning and service.

Focus Energy supplies solutions that cover everything from the planning stage through erection of the plant to commissioning – and we then continue to assure operation through service and follow-up procedures.

Focus Energy covers the need for both component deliveries and turnkey solutions for gas and oil-fired boiler plants, gas-fired motor plants and biomass-fired boiler plants that operate with woodchip, straw or wood pellets. The plants in question vary in size from 400 kW to 15 MW per unit.

Focus Energy is also a turnkey supplier of large-scale solar heating systems. Optimal utilisation of energy from the sun largely depends on two parameters: Firstly, the right integration with the entire heat generating plant is of major importance and secondly the know-how to design these systems has a major impact on systems efficiency.

The use of heat pumps for heat and/or cooling production also plays an important part of the product range at Focus Energy.

Within these areas, Focus Energy can supply solutions which can accommodate the need for a CO2-neutral energy solution to the greatest possible extent. This refers to the extension of the existing energy supply, which can supplemented with bio-based energy, as well as the establishment of CHP stations starting from scratch.

An oil-fired heating plant – possibly involving bio-oil-firing – can act as a back-up and help cover peak load periods. The investment is reasonable and it ensures a rapid back-up to e.g. a straw-fired solution.

A healthy economy in energy production must also be green. Both of these elements can be attained by an optimal utilisation of biofuel and solar energy, which will be central elements in the energy supply of the future.

Economy is closely related to efficiency, which again depends on technique and flexibility. Focus Energy has both technical competence and experience in the utilisation of thermal energy.

The use of heat pumps will in the future be a relevant method for providing flexibility in energy supply. The integration of many heat generation technologies ensures the highest possible degree of green heat production.

There is a range of choices when speaking of green energy: Dry or moist solid biofuel and fluid biofuel logs on one hand, and on the other, the utilisation of solar, geothermal and wind as energy sources.
