This booklet is designed to guide your family through the arrangement process

when cremation is chosen. In this booklet you will find several cremation service

choices, merchandise for cremation and keepsake items. Many families are not

aware that with cremation you can have a visitation/viewing and funeral service

prior to the cremation process. There are also service choices without the body

present, such as a memorial service or celebration of life. With a cremation your

family will need to meet with a funeral director to gather information for the

death certificate, obituary notice and sign the proper authorizations. You will

also need to select the type of service desired, if any, the cremation casket or

alternative container that your loved one will be placed in for the cremation

process and then the container that the cremated remains will be placed in

after the cremation process. There are many choices to fit each families needs

and budget as well as fitting the needs of the final resting place. Some families

choose a local cemetery, keeping them in your home or scattering them within

the laws of the state of Indiana or other state.

Many of the families we serve are choosing cremation and we are happy to

accommodate their wishes, please ask your funeral director if you have any

special requests or questions.

• Identification of unprepared remains in cardboard cremation container

• Cremains returned in a black plastic receptacle

a. Graveside Service following the Direct Cremation - $395 (tent, chairs, grave opening & closing and outer burial container not included)

b. Preparation (dressing and cosmetics) without embalming. One hour of visitation for up to 10 members of the immediate family - $445

c. Preparation (dressing and cosmetics) with embalming. One hour of visitation open to the public - $1,340 (additional hour of visitation - $150 per hour)

d. Standard Register Book Package (includes register book, 50 personalized memorial folders and 50 thank you cards) - $195
