Die Küken wachsen in Aufzuchtställen

zu Junghennen heran. Küken haben

aufgrund ihres konstanten Wärme-

bedarfs wenig bis keinen Auslauf. Nach

18 Wochen werden die Tiere in Lege-

hennenställen gehalten. Die Fütterung

ist dem jeweiligen Alter der Tiere

angepasst. Von den gehaltenen Lege-

hennen sind in der Schweiz rund

zwei Drittel Weisseierleger und ein

Drittel Brauneierleger.

In der Schweiz dürfen bei Freiland-
