Application Details
Consumption / Dosage 0.3 0.5 kg/m2per coat.
The consumption depends on the absorption, the type, the structure of the surfaceand the required protection grade. Generally over porous surfaces at least twocoats are required.
Substrate Quality Substrate must be clean, smooth dry, free of dust, oil or grease and loose or friable
particles. Surface defects such as blowholes, voids, honeycombing, etc. in theconcrete must be repaired with suitable Sika mortars before coating.
Substrate Preparation Repair damaged substrates with SikaMonoTop
or SikaTop
repair mortars.
Rinsing concrete surfaces with clean water.
Clean contaminated substrates by suitable means including steam cleaning or highpressure water jetting or with the use of mechanical means etc.
ApplicationConditions /Limitations
Substrate Temperature +5C min. / +35C max.
Ambient Temperature +5C min. / +40C max.
ApplicationInstructions
Application Method /Tools
The product can be applied by brush, roller or spray.
Apply the product in crossway coats. The waterproofing ability of the product startswhen it is fully cured.
If the product is been used as a primer dilute the first coat with 20% of clear water.Any next coat or coats must be applied without diluting them.
Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. CuredIgol
A can be removed with Sika
Colma - Cleaner. Any hardened material can
only be removed mechanically.
Waiting Time /Overcoating
Overcoating (time that it takes to dry out): 24 hours (at +20
C)
Dependent on the ambient temperature, substrate temperature, relative humidityand the thickness of coating applied.
Notes on Application /Limitations
Do not apply the product in direct sunlight. If it is possible apply the product undershadow and in ventilated area.
Do not apply the product during rain.
Protect newly applied material from rain, etc. until dully hardened.
