If you find it hard to speak to the Police on the telephone or in person, when asked lots of different questions, you can join the Pegasus scheme which will help you communicate with us. • You can register for free by filling in an application form • An application form can be found on the Dyfed-Powys Police website at:- http://www.dyfed-powys.police.uk/en/advice/the-pegasus-scheme/ or you can contact your local Officer or PCSO and ask for an application form. • Completed application forms can be emailed to [email protected] or posted to this address:- Dyfed-Powys Police, Force Communications Centre, Headquarters, PO Box 99, Carmarthen, SA31 2PF • When you have registered you will receive a keyring through the post from the Police. • If you need to contact the Police ring 101 • Say the word ‘Pegasus’ and then your password, the Police will then know who you are and can help you. • Tell the Police where you are (at home or somewhere else) • Remember if you or someone else is in danger ‘right now’ ring 999 and say ‘Pegasus’ and your password. You can also show your Pegasus keyring to an Officer/PCSO if you need help when you see them.
