Enormous Ant colony modelled city with Mighty tower structures that cover several kilometres in girth, accommodating millions.

self sustaining systems for energy

and water.

robotic science

work to create a green

sustenance

Highly efficient transport systems are located throughout to move

travellers horizontally, vertically or diagonally, using improved cable designs and electromagnetic propulsion

will be faster, saferand use renewable

energy forms for fuel

Public transport efficiency will grow

by bounds to accommodate mega-

city populations

The geo-political map will undergo various changes as floating cities create Micro –

nations, that have autonomous Government structures, and a new age,

fairer democracy

Various loopholes in the current Judicial system will be fixed, making it infallible,

and intolerant to mass crimes.

Greater participation in governance and

awareness will exist on part of the

citizens.

Law enforcement bodies are bound to achieve higher crime control, with the use

of technology and training.

Demography

The Elite –rich community will shrink

making economic parity possible, men and women salaries will also stand at par.

Increased population control schemes and

regulations, combined with increased family

planning and individualistic lifestyles

will lead to a massivedecline in birth rate.

Groundbreaking medical discoveries,

improved and cheaper health care

will increase life expectancy.

Earning capacities will undergo severe shift

as capitalism perishes to a societal

need for conservation

Education

Use of virtual reality simulations will create faster and

more effective learning possible.

The education system will be under a constant process of upgradationin terms curriculum and medium of instruction.

Making it more relevant and customized to

learning needs.

Information and education will be

accessible to all for free, and function on cooperative sharing.

A skill based module will be preferred over theoretical modules ,

key concentration being cultivating

innovation

Cultural Liberalisation

The gender gap has narrowed down to

ensure equality between both sexes

completely.

Religion will take a backseat to

spirituality and liberal outlooks, citizens will feel no hesitation in

free expression.

The mindset of nationalism and

patriotism will be replaced by a sense of Global belonging.

Citizens believe in building a society that takes conscious effort to maintain peace and

harmony, that adopts the best of every culture, and

moves towards a more accommodating civilization.

Economy Why a

Floating City?

A brilliant chance to plan an efficient, self sustaining unit, a step

towards restoring ecological balance.

The towns today will catch up to the cities in the future that are

now at ceiling, leaving little space for systematic city

building.

Resource depletion, climatic shifts and a growing population are essential issues that will need to be

addressed.

Improvement happens with time, and like with all things

at one point in time, the improvement of an existing

city will reach its ceiling from where improvement happens

at a diminishing rate
