Thoughts on doing a Cross Curricular ICT/PE Multi-media Project

I think this project will be fun. It will be good to see myself perform on camera an im looking forward to creating a movie in my ICT lessons.

Interests and Hobbies

In PE I enjoy the dance and gymnastics lessons because I like working with a partner to make up routines. I play netball for the school and was selected by my year group to represent us on the sports council. Outside of school I attend a gymnastics club. I enjoy taking part in the competitions and was named gymnast of the year in 2007.

Teachers: My PE teacher is Miss Henderson, she makes lessons fun and also coaches the netball team.

Different Sports

So far this year I have learnt new skills in dance, gymnastics netball, outdoor adventurous activities and health related exercise

Fav PE Lessons

I have enjoyed most of my PE lesson. Outdoor adventurous activities was fun, especially when we got to buils a shelter in the forest and built chariots to race, but I think i enjoyed gymnastics the most as Miss said I could be a coach and help others to make good sequences

Targets for Improvement?

To improve the dance I think I could show more emotion as it is a creative dance.

What is the Assessment: Dance

Explanation of Performance

The theme of our dance was escape. Miss made us watch Phantom of the Opera to give us ideas. Every lesson we had to think of moves to go with the words she gave us, words like dart, creep, explode and whirl. I really enjoyed creating this dance and enjoyed showing everyone in the class what we came up with.

What did you do well?

I think i moved well during the dance, I always tried to extend my arms and legs to show good shape and think my gymnastics helped this. We tired to use different directions in the dance and showed lots of different levels with our lifts and spins.
