Short transmission windows with small packets Localization detection from the network
How more you use, the cost per message will drop Good coverage
Milliseconds send/ recieve
After sending devices go in
sleeping modus

The LoRa Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members that believes the internet of things era is now.
It was initiated by industry leaders with a mission to standardize Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) being deployed around the world to enable Internet of Things .
The Alliance members will collaborate to drive the global success of the LoRa protocol (LoRaWAN), by sharing knowledge and experience to guarantee interoperability between
operators in one open global standard.
Activities:
- Push the worldwide usage of the same LoRaWAN 1.0 protocol
- Create transparancy and openness about the LoRa eco-system
- Inform and convince network operators around the world to deploy LoRa networks
- Agree upon and build Roaming methodology
- Agree upon and set up LoRaWAN certification program
- Connect companies in the eco-system to each other the accelarate growth
