For a gusset bag application, set the paper size to 12 x 32, (Fig. 3) set the rest of the dialogue as shown, making sure the rotation is set to 180 Degrees. For a valve bag application, set the paper size to 12 x 32, (Fig. 4) set the rest of the dialogue as shown, making sure the rotation is set to 0 Degrees. Click Apply and OK. Formatting the ST262 Printer Driver for Windows 7 & 8Overview: After installing the ST262 Printer Driver in Windows 7 or Windows 8, it is necessary to format the driver for it to work with a label program. The same driver may be formatted for boxes, bags and the Customizer Printer.

1. Begin by going to Devices | Printers, right click on the ST262 icon and select Printer Preferences. (Fig. 1)

2. Expand the Paper/Output section. For an RSC case application, select the 32x12 paper size, (Fig. 2) and set the rest of the dialogue as shown, making sure the rotation is set to 90 Degrees.

3. Return to Devices | Printers, right click on the icon and select Printer Properties. (Fig. 5 )

4. In Properties, set the Leader to 3.4 inches and the Trailer to 2.6 inches. With the exception of the Length Calibration, the rest of the menu should appear as shown. (Fig. 6) Length calibration will be set at a calibrated length it receives from your imager. This may need to change, based on a test we will run on the general tab. Click Apply and OK.

NOTE: The Iconotech Customizer uses a Leader value of 3.0 inches and a Trailer value of 3.0 inches. (Fig. 7)

5. Return to Devices | Printers one last time, right click on the icon and select Printer Properties. (Fig. 5 )

6. Select the General tab and click Print Test Page. (Fig. 8) Your ST262 imager will produce a full length stencil. Measure the overall length of the stencil. It should measure 38 inches in length. If the stencil length is correct, click OK, you are done formatting the driver.

adjustment needs to be made to the length calibration setting on the Device Settings tab.(Fig. 9)

7. To make the adjustment, click on the Length Calibration number to reveal a drop down menu. To increase the length of the stencil, select a higher number, to make the stencil shorter, select a smaller number. Click Apply and wait for the green light on the imager to stop blinking. Once it has stopped, select the General tab and run another test print. If the length is correct, click OK, you are done, if not continue the adjustment process until it is.

Generally speaking, a Length Calibration of 48.750 is correct for Windows 7 and 8.
