Registration Guidelines

Registration Registrations can be taken over the phone or in person. We must receive your payment and registration no later than one week prior to the date of the event. Class registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis and guaranteed only once payment has been received. Registration will close one week prior to each session. IF a class does not have minimum (5 people for studio classes, 2 for Pilates studio classes), the class will be cancelled. IF there are enough students enrolled for the 6 wk session, then we can accept single class enrollments -- up until the class maximum (8 people for group studio (10 for Tai Chi), 4 people for Pilates studio classes). No one may register for another person. Please note: For both new and continuing students, the only way to guarantee your space in a class is to prepay. **Please be aware that registration in one session DOES NOT guarantee registration for subsequent sessions without full advanced payment.

Payment We accept personal checks (made payable to HSS), Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Money Orders. All forms of payment will reserve your space in the class/workshop. All payments are non-refundable – no exceptions.

Consent Participants are required to submit their doctor’s approval/consent to participate in the following classes: Tai Chi for Better Balance, Pilates for Better Bones, Pilates for Healthy Back and OsteoFitness. PT evaluation is also required for OsteoFitness.

Class Attendance and Make-ups Class instructors will monitor class attendance each week. If you cannot make all the series classes, please sign up for single classes. Make up classes are only allowed if there is space in another class. Make-up classes will be permitted within the current 6-week session only; no “roll-overs” to subsequent sessions will be granted. If you miss a class and are unable to arrange a make-up, that class will be lost. No exceptions. Please be aware that make-ups may not be available due to limited class size.

Single Class Registration: One week prior to a new session, individuals may register for a single class(es) if there is open availability in that class. Individuals may also register for single classes during the session if there is availability. Students who register for full 6 week session have 1st priority. This option is not available for Pilates equipment classes.

Course Credit Class credits will be issued for students that are unable to attend a paid 6 week session due to illness or injury – a MD note is required. You may apply this credit to future sessions or services offered at the ICC. No credits will be given if you do not attend an event without giving prior notice. If you start a multi-session class and decide not to continue, no credit will be issued. There are no refunds or course credits for one-time workshops.

Cancellation due to lack of enrollment The Integrative Care Center reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Registrants will be notified by telephone within 48 hours prior to the event. Full refunds or course credit will be issued.

Class Instructors The Integrative Care Center reserves the right to employ substitute teachers. Instructors are subject to change and our goal is to keep the schedule consistent and provide a substitute instructor. If we cannot get coverage the class will be rescheduled.
