    About the Conference

    Conference Objectives

    Globalization has made the most exacting demands on organizations to rise and benchmark themselves to the global standards and in the process the world has changed the way it communicates!

    The need for quick Information transfer within organizations has brought in sweeping changes in the way people communicate. Technology in particular has brought about humungous changes in the way organizations and people communicate with one another. Industry has been exhibiting a heightened sense of alertness to these liberating changes being brought in by technology as communication is the backbone of all organizations.

    People have realized that communication has the ability to transform a company from negative growth to positive growth and an individual from being prosaic to being a cult. Today, the ability to communicate ideas has taken precedence over the idea itself. What is valued in today's organizations is one's ability to communicate! Communication has been identified as a skill that can change the destiny of an individual and the organization! There by, Business communication has become the focus of study in academic institutions and a focus of strategizing in industry.

    A concerted effort is being made by both industry and academia to bring in a balance between technology and the conventional methods of communication to ensure it is efficient and result oriented.

    The purpose of the conference is to provide the academia, researchers, research scholars and people from the industry a common platform to connect and share the business communication practices existing in the industry today, to explore the possibilities of innovating for better communication practices and to ensure that students are equipped to face the demands and requirements when they are part of organizations.

    Guidelines for SubmissionAcademic ians , students , research scholars , communication experts from the industry are encouraged to submit full papers/case studies of their current research. All papers/cases will under go a double peer review. Please read the following guidelines before submitting the manuscript:

    Each research paper/case study must clearly address one of the topics given under the conference area of focus

    Submitted manuscripts must NOT have been previously published, presented, accepted for publication for any other journal or research conference

    The entire manuscript (including cover page, abstract, main text, exhibits, appendices and references) should be included in one document

    Author(s) related information name, affiliation and contact details should be mentioned on the cover page

    The manuscript must be in MS Word format

    The length of the research paper including the exhibits and references should be between 3000 to 5000 words. Case study : 2000 to 3000 words

    Font: Times New Roman 12

    Double space the main text of the document

    List the references in the alphabetical order at the end of the paper. All references must be single spaced. The references must be distinguished by hanging indents

    All manuscripts must be formatted according to the academy of management style guide 2008, available at http://journals.aomonline.org/amj/style_guide.pdf

    The manuscript should indicate a corresponding author

    In case of acceptance of the manuscript, one of the authors must be available to present the paper at the conference
