The African experience in air transport liberalization

Panel discussion: invited panelists from African States, regional bodies, the industry and other interested parties will share their views and experience in air transport liberalization (including the successes and difficulties in achieving the goals of the African liberalization initiatives), and exchange views on the ways forward.

– Aviation noise data (inventories and models);– Standards and the new technology available in aircraft noise;– Preventive measures available to address the effects of noise

(land-use planning etc.); – Operational procedures available to minimize noise, – Operating restrictions including curfews; – Noise charges.
