IBRAHIM (as)

Page 2: Ibrahim (as)

Long ago many people in a town worshiped stone! They used to make and sell these stones they

worshiped.

They didn’t worship Allah (SWT)

So Allah (SWT) sent a prophet to tell them the truth. His name was

Ibrahim (as)

Page 3: Ibrahim (as)

Ibrahim loved his family vey much. He told his family to

worship Allah (SWT). But his father didn’t want to listen to him and kept on worshipping

stone. Many other people also didn’t listen to Ibrahim

(as).

Page 4: Ibrahim (as)

So Ibrahim thought of an idea to teach his family and the other people that

worshipping stone is useless!

When all of the people went to a festival

Ibrahim (as) broke all of the idols with an axe!

Page 5: Ibrahim (as)

He broke all the idols but he left the biggest idol and put the axe near that idol.

Page 6: Ibrahim (as)

When all the people returned they saw all there stones (idols) broken!

They asked Ibrahim

‘who did this?’

He said ‘why don’t you ask the biggest idol? He should know!’

Page 7: Ibrahim (as)

Ibrahim wanted the people to realise that stone idols cannot speak and they cannot do anything! So how

can they be your god?

The people said ‘but the idols cannot talk!’

Then Ibrahim (as) replied ‘how can you worship

something that cannot speak or do anything?’

Page 8: Ibrahim (as)

But the people still didn’t listen!

They became even more angry with Ibrahim (as)!

Page 9: Ibrahim (as)

They made a huge fire and they wanted to put Ibrahim (as) in it!

Page 10: Ibrahim (as)

Then they threw him in the fire....

Page 11: Ibrahim (as)

But Allah (SWT) wanted to show the people He could do anything!

So Allah (SWT) told the fire to be cool and not to hurt Ibrahim (as)!!!

Page 12: Ibrahim (as)

All the people were amazed that the fire wasn’t hurting Ibrahim (as)!

But they still didn’t believe in Allah (SWT) and they still worshipped stones!

always help you.
