Launched in 2010, the Smarter Cities Challenge is a major IBM grant program
designed to enable up to 100 cities around the world to utilize the time and expertise
of top-performing IBMers to become more vibrant and rewarding places for their
citizens to live in. Cities will also have access to a wide array of IBM resources
