A Word From The President ...Welcome to Red Mask's spring play, Tribute. We thank all of you
for your continued support. It is gratifying to see so many of you at allof our plays.
We are asking you to vote for new Board Members during this play.You were given a ballot as you entered the theatre. We hope you will takea few minutes to study the slate, as you are picking the people who willhelp guide Red Mask for the next three years.
We have tentatively scheduled a summer play, Dracula, for twoweekends in July. We are now looking for a director for this productionand for all of our 1982-83 shows. If any of you would like to direct,please send in a resume.
You'll notice our Season Membership Offer on page 17 of this pro-gram. We hope you'll also notice that the prices of the memberships willremain the same. Honore began her Red Mask association in 1942 at the YWCA Gymunder the expert direction of Kathryn Randolph, her "second mother"through her high school years. She is a drama graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and was Program Director at WDAN for 31 years.Honore is very proud of the fact that her father, Thomas P. Ronan, lOokRed Mask to the Palace Theatre after seeing her and the other players ina production at the Y.
She appeared with Dick Van Dyke in his first stage performance atRed Mask, with comedian Bob Hope when she was 8, and on radio withLillian Gish and Percy Warren, stars of Life With Father. Honore laterportrayed Mother in that same play at Red Mask. She also worked withGene Hackman "behind the scenes" when he was a cameraman atWDAN-TV.
She is a past President of Red Mask and the first winner of a KatyAward for her performance in The Glass Menagerie. She had other lead-ing roles in at least ten productions and has been Dramatic Director fornumerous DLO shows,
Stage Manager ALFREDA KLINGENSMITH
This is Alfreda's sixth season with Red Mask. She has been StageManager for productions of The Best Man, Harvey, and Janus and theSunshine II production of Come Blow Your Horn, She produced 6 RmsRiv Vu and Heaven Can Wait, has served in several other backstagecapacities, and had minor roles in several Red Mask productions. Alfredamade her acting debut (!) in a high school production as an entomologist."That means I had to say a lot of big words!" She is employed as Book-keeper at IFCO Auto Supply, and her secret ambition is "to do a majorrole in a Red Mask production".

Dorothy is proud to be listed among the charter members of RedMask, and she appeared in the first play, A Man Among Women, pre-sented at the YWCA. She has been active with Red Mask during the pastfour years, working with make-up and serving as House Manager lastyear. A retired teacher and foreign language coordinator of the DanvillePublic Schools, Dorothy is involved in many activities in Danville, Sheis currently serving as President of the Vermilion County Museum Societyand Danville Toastmistress Club,

Bob's "real life" age, Many of those years have been spent at RedMask, beginning with one of the great moments in theatre - hisportrayal of the milkman in Come Back Little Sheba. Since then hehas appeared in Cactus Flower, A Thousand Clowns, The Best Man,Don't Drink the Water, Harvey, and The Impossible Years for whichhe earned a Katy Award, A past President of Red Mask, Bob has alsoserved on the Board of Directors and in various behind-the-scenescapacities. His wife, Dorothy, and sons, Marc and Craig, have alsobeen active at Red Mask. Bob is vice president of Steel Craft ProductsCompany in Covington,
T, SCOTI RYAN (Iud): Tom's favorite role to date was that of BillyBibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He has also appearedwith DLO as Riff in West Side Story and with Sunshine II as the Padrein Man of La Mancha, He is currently a dance student at the CollegeStreet Dance Center and thoroughly enjoys "being surrounded by allthose lovely young ladies." Of the future Tom states, "If I ever get thenerve, courage, and money I'd like to go West and try making a livingat this sort of thing."
BARBARA McKINZIE (Maggie): Barbara most recently appeared inlast season's Born Yesterday, She played the leading role of AnnStanley in Forty Karats and did the interior designing of the set forChapter Two, In years past Barbara has also been active with DLOboth as a Board Member and singing leads in Show Boat, Oklahoma,and Carousel. An Account Executive with WICD-TV, she is themother of two sons, Kirk and Mark, and one daughter, Molly, who hashelped with props and worked on the stage crew for this show andChapter Two. As Barb says, "We come as a package!"
