He recentlyreturned from a Fulbrightaward that allowed him toteach and research in Hungary.He directed Temple’s programin London and has twicetaught in Temple’s TokyoProgram. While living in Japan,he and his family traveledwidely in Asia, includingextended trips to China,Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand,Singapore, Malaysia and Bali.

In Philadelphia, Paul’s popular“Imaginary Cities” courseuses motion pictures toenable him and his students totravel virtually to other partsof the world.
