Exploring the Great Lakes of the World (GLOW) Food-Web Dynamics, Health and Integrity,"

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. July.

In association with the UT University Women's Commission, guided two Department of

Geography and Planning graduate students' (Grisel Marrero and Chris Schlutt) development of a

22-foot display on women travelers placed in the Student Union for Women's History Month.

Due to the development of this display and her high level of interest in the project, subsequently

arranged for Chris Schlutt to be the invited speaker at a University Women's Commission

luncheon on March 13. The title of her talk was, "From Buttonhooks to Hiking Boots: Tales of

Women Travelers." Finally, due to the professional quality of the display, the management of the

Student Union asked for permission to leave it in place two weeks beyond its prearranged

removal date.
