Age and activity of park users in specific sub-precincts
The sub-precincts where age and activity observations were undertaken
In each sub-precinct observers were required to count either:
• The number of people entering the Park through one of the 24 park entrances and the pathway used
• The number of people using seats
• The number of people using desire lines (unmade pathways or shortcuts)
• The activities and ages of park users in open space areas
The above diagram illustrates the sub-precincts where open space observations were conducted. The following section will explore the age and activities undertaken by Park users within the above listedsub-precincts only.
