Perhaps at no other time has the cost of higher education been more important to students and their parents. HCC’s mission is to make a high-quality education affordable and accessable to all.

With one of the least expensive tuition and fee structures in the state, HCC remains an affordable, but quality, education option for students.

Our Financial Aid office is staffed by a group of professionals who are dedicated to assisting you with funding your education. Our staff is well-trained and keeps abreast of the latest information to help you find funding sources to finance your educational dreams. In addition, our staff takes pride in treating each student individually, and customizing funding plans to help make education an affordable reality.

When you compare our fee structure to the larger institutions in Kansas, you will find that we are anywhere from one half to one fourth the cost.

Compare us to private institutions and you will be amazed by the savings.

Lower cost does not mean that you will sacrifice quality in terms of your education. By attending HCC, you will find that our low student-to-faculty ratio of 17-to-1 allows you to receive individualized attention from instructors who care about you. Faculty members will help you every step of the way and set you up for success during your first years of college.

Many of our students also choose to work while attending classes. Our Human Resources office can assist with career advice, help in finding a job, and job placement services that are available to our students.
