TROPHY WHITETAIL PRESERVE HUNTS From October 15th - January 10th

Hunting is free in the Preserve. You pay a Trophy Fee only if and when you harvest a deer! If you do not harvest a deer, your only charge would be lodging and your one on one guide fee.

Amenities Only (Do-It-Yourself Meals) - $15 per day per person or $50 per person with overnight lodging. ($100 clean up fee will apply) Great for those “Do-it-your-self” type groups that want to provide their own food and cooking. You will have full access to our kitchen, grills, cookware, dishes and of course all lodge amenities.

Skeet ShootingThis is a great addition to any hunt or outing. The price includes the clay targets, shells and you are welcome to use one of our shot guns. Great fun for ALL skill levels! $20 for a round of 25 or $175 for 10 rounds.

Live EntertainmentLocal artist are available upon request to entertain your group. They can set up outside on the deck or inside in the great room for smaller groups. This is a great addition to any gathering. You and your guest will be in for a treat! $350 for 3-4 hours

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTING

at HUrriCane Creek, tHe CHoiCe is yoUrs... “tropHy HUnt” or “open range HUnt”

Our “Open Range Hunt” takes place outside the preserve. If you choose an Open Range hunt, you pay a flat fee per day and there is never a trophy fee, regardless of what you harvest. We have some of the best whitetail land in our area and Alabama is known for having a very dense deer population. Alabama law allows each hunter to harvest multiple bucks and does each season! With an Open Range hunt you can expect to see a lot of deer and the occasional good buck. We allow you to shoot any 8-point buck or better and one doe. You can harvest a 2nd buck, but it must be better than your 1st. Guide Service is included. We have some great 3, 5 & 7 day “ALL Inclusive” packages starting at just $895 per person. Even less with a group of 6 or more!

Our “Trophy Hunt” takes place inside our very large preserve. A Trophy Hunt is not as easy as some may think. These deer are wild and they must be hunted hard. The main difference in hunting inside the preserve verses outside is that we are able to totally control the harvest rate. This results in some very large, very mature whitetails with superior genetics. With a Trophy Hunt you only pay if and when you harvest a deer. The fee is based only on the size of the antlers. You will see deer ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years and older. You will also see racks of all sizes, including some that top 200 inches. It is not uncommon to see several Boone and Crocket racks every time you sit in the stand. This is quality deer management at its best! Trophy Hunts start at $2,950 plus Lodging and Guide service.

Hunting is always unpredictable; however we are confident that you will be pleased with the game you see. After that, it’s all up to you!

the LAND

HUrriCane Creek is loCated in a part oF alabama known for its beauty and diversity. The land itself is a mixture of rolling hills, rustling streams, open food plots, pine plantations and a variety of natural hardwoods. All of the land is easily accessible by road using one of our many ATV’s, golf carts or in many cases a comfortable pick-up.

the ACCOMMODATIONS

oUr all new smoke-Free lodge Can aCCommodate Up to 14 guest. All the furnishings are very up to date and the decor is just what you would expect to find in a first class hunting lodge. The non-hunting guest is also welcome and there are numerous non-hunting activities as well.

We are a “full-service” lodge. We realize that the hunting is only part of the experience. Our food and southern hospitality help make your trip something special. Amenities include Satellite TV, a Custom Pool Table, 15 Acre Stocked Lake, ATV’s, Golf Carts, Skeet Shooting and much more. The lodge is located inside the deer preserve and the wildlife is abundant. After a visit to Hurricane Creek, you will be spoiled!

TURKEY HUNTING

HUrriCane Creek is also a great plaCe For tUrkey HUnting. We offer fully guided hunts with some of the best callers in the south, or you can try your own skills at luring in that mature Tom.

Our turkey flocks have really flourished over the past few years. It is not unusual to hear the woods come alive at daylight with the sound of numerous gobbling Toms looking for true love.

We do our turkey hunting both inside and outside the preserve. Our turkey flocks do really well inside the preserve because we eliminate most predators like coyotes, bobcats and raccoons. Our open range land also offers some of Alabama’s best Turkey hunting. Our season runs from April 1st through April 30th. Alabama law allows one Tom per day with a limit of 5 in a season. There is no trophy fee regardless of how many birds you kill. This is a very short season and we are sure to book up fast. We can handle some very large groups for daytime gatherings or dinner, and we can accommodate up to 14 overnight guests comfortably.
