PARISH MEMBERSHIP All par ishioners should be registered. Please register at the Rectory when you move into the parish and also notify the Rectory if you are leaving the parish.
SPONSOR LETTERS Church law mandates that a Godparent for Baptism and a Sponsor for Confirma-tion be an active Confirmed Catholic. An active Cath-olic is a parishioner who is registered, attends Mass weekly, contributes to the support of the church, is in a valid Catholic marriage, and publicly leads a life com-patible with Church teaching. We can only write let-ters of eligibility for parishioners who meet these crite-ria.
BAPTISM Baptism is celebrated every Sunday at 1:30 PM except during Lent. Arrangements must be made in advance. Sponsors must be practicing Catho-lics. If sponsors are from another parish, they are to obtain a sponsor letter from their parish priest indicat-ing that they are practicing Catholics.
MARRIAGE Mar r iage arrangements should be made at least one year in advance and prior to any so-cial plans. Contact the Parish Office for all pre-
marriage.

Dear Parishioners, This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Trinity Sunday. The Trinity is the greatest mystery of our faith. We commemorate the Trinity at the beginning and end of every liturgy, prayer service and daily prayer when we pray "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen." and make the sign of the cross. As children it was proba-bly the first prayer we learned. When I was a child I remember learning that if we had to say a quick prayer, the sign of the cross was the best way to call the Lord in such a powerful way. We know that the Trinity is the greatest mystery of our Faith; how three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, can be one God. It cannot be explained logically, it is our faith! St. Patrick explained it best by using a three-leaf clover. Each part of a leaf has its own identity, but it is still one clover. How blessed we are in church that we are able to pray to the Trin-ity for God's help and support. In this weekend's gospel Jesus gave the disciples the power to "make disciples of all nations" and that is why at baptism, the words that are said with the water are, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." We are truly a church of a triune God. This week let us reflect on the Trinity, the greatest gift that God gave us, and the greatest mystery by which our families can be strengthened, sustained and give glory to God for all of the gifts that He has given us. I thank God for the vocation of the priesthood that he has given me. This Sunday, May 27th is my 29th year of Priestly Ordination, it seems like only yesterday that I was ordained!
