Hampton’s Vinnies Centre will bid a fond farewell to Pat Flave, who will ‘retire’ after more

than 35 years of volunteering at the Centre.

Centre Manager Daniel Bryen paid tribute to Pat, saying “she’s been such an amazing part of our

team here. Over the years Pat has had a variety of roles at the Centre, she’s been willing to take

on so much. She just gives her time and spirit so generously. We’re all very sad to be saying

goodbye to her, but after all these years, it’s definitely time for her to put her feet up!”

The Centre has long been an integral part of the local community, providing furniture, clothing and

household goods to families and people who are in need and are being assisted by local

conference members.
