Feature reminder - Data Correction/Downtime
You can define SLA data correction schedules to make retroactive adjustments to SLA data. Please note that a downtime only affects future data.
Use case:You discover that testing of an application is causing disruption to a server monitored by your SLAs. The testing will continue for an hour a day over the next week, so you define a Downtime (in the Platform Administration Downtime Management page) for the future testing.
But you also want to exclude from your SLAs the data from testing periods that have already taken place, so you define an SLA data correction schedule for those time periods. The data correction periods are excluded from SLA calculations, and are marked with Downtime status in Service Level Management reports.
In addition, the Downtime Event Description area displayed in reports (displayed by enabling the option in the Advanced Options dialog box), provides information on data corrections that are applicable to the report.
After defining or editing an SLA data or correction schedule, you need to run recalculation on your SLAs so that the data changes are applied to the SLAs.

Data Correction/Downtime applied to multiple SLAs
Usage1. Select the CI Filter that you want
to apply the correction to (for example a list of business transactions).
2. Select which SLA’s you want to be taken into account (select an individual one or a”All SLAs”).
Before this update you would need to apply data correction separately to each individual SLA based on a selection of CIs.

Ability to create “regional” SLAs
Region
The geographical area from which the SLA is calculated when creating reports.
In this example it would include all locations in Canada (i.e. all child locations in the locations tree under Canada).

Use-case
Multiple LDAP Server support
Problem:
• Customers have multiple LDAP domains not integrated together.
Goal:
• Allow multiple LDAP servers.
Solution:
• Define several LDAP’s in Admin pages.
Limitation:
• No support for same user name in several domains.

Why its critical to monitor with HP Mobile Center?
Services may be impacted even when system availability looks “green”
The business wants to know the health of the whole business, not the underlying infrastructure

… using the same familiar flow…
BPM 9.25 extends monitoring to real devices
1. Record and customize your scripts with VuGen (TruClient Mobile Device) for a specific mobile device and application.
• Device is tethered via USB to a licensed HP Mobile Center instance.
• Both Android and iOS devices are supported.
2. Upload your script to BSM (embedded in the script is the URL to the HP Mobile Center, a specific device and specific application).
3. Deploy the script, set a schedule, thresholds, and alerts as you normally do.
• NOTE: script will run on the HP Mobile Center and device you chose in the recording.
4. At runtime, the proper device is reserved at the HP Mobile Center instance and the script is played back using the WiFi connection or the devices data plan.
5. Measurements are sent to BSM and processed as usual.

Real User Monitor (RUM) 9.25Citrix VDI-based applications
• Simplified configuration for applications using Citrix
• Improved Isolation Flow for Citrix-based applications
• Session distribution by Citrix properties
• Enriched Application Health report showing impact of Citrix measurements on overall health
Real User Monitor (RUM) 9.25Improved Isolation Flow for Citrix-based apps
• Tracks the VDI user to determine whether the problem is related to Citrix or to the Application
• Enrichment of application with VDI metrics.
• Trace user by VDI/App user name.
• Prior - RUM followed the HTTP/S session between the VDI Server to the Application Web Server but was not aware of the traffic between actual User & VDI Server.
• RUM correlates between the VDI Session (Citrix ICA protocol) and the HTTP/S session to the front Application. • RUM presents the VDI Latency over the related Web Application Session and supply various reports and graph to present the VDI
performance related to the front application monitored. (Only Web Application supported.)
• Analyze overall behavior of app sessions by Citrix properties (VDI User Name / VDI Server IP)
• Slice and Dice application sessions according to Citrix session properties
