Contest 3:00 p.m. Register the day of the contest at the “Cottage Pet Hospital” booth from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. Pawrade at 2:45.

Dog Costume Contest

RULES:• Please register dogs on the day of the contest near the

main stage at the Cottage Pet Hospital booth between 2:00 and 2:45 p.m. Separate sign ups for small (under 35 lbs.) and large dogs (over 35 lbs.).

• Line up in numerical order by 2:45 p.m. for the pawrade. Contest will begin at 3:00 p.m.

• Each entry will be assigned a number for judging.

• There will be no categories this year. Just the best, most creative costumes win.

• Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length at all times. Locking/retractable leashes must also be no more than 6 feet.

• Dogs attending need to be comfortable with crowds, loud noises, close contact with people and other dogs.

• If a dog becomes unruly, staff reserves the right to ask the dog and owner to leave in the interest of safety to other participants and attendees.

• All dogs must be licensed and current on vaccinations.

• Only dogs may participate at this event. Please do not bring cats or other animals.

• Please be mindful of your dog and their need to relieve themselves. If you need a “potty bag” please bring one. You will need to provide your own water for dogs, though we will have some water available.

• Contestants may not be related to the judges. They may show their dog but not participate in contest judging.

• The decisions of the judges are final.

• Prizes are not transferable.
