F r e q u e n t l y A s k e d Q u e s t i o n s How will I find my way around the school? STAGE 2
We work on a 2 week timetable; Week A and Week B. This is to make sure you get a broad
and varied curriculum.
You have four lessons each day and this is explained in more detail in ‘How is my school day
structured?’
On you timetable, each lesson will show your group, the subject, your teacher’s
initials and the room.
This is an example of a Week A timetable. Lessons have been coloured using the faculty
colours but you will also see some specific subjects being given. This may not be the case for
some faculties such as Science and D&T as they work on a rota but you will be told when you
are here. Week A
T r a n s i t i o n T a s t e r s Shoeburyness High School
Can you work out which faculty each lesson is for the week B timetable?
As we have done for Week A, try to link each lesson to the faculty colours. You can do this just
by looking at the timetable and identifying the colours or if you would prefer, printing this
page off and colouring the timetable in.
Why does P.E not
have a colour?
P.E in mainly taught
in the Sports Hall,
Gym or outside,
therefore they are
not specific ‘rooms’.
