A tooth that has receivedroot canal therapy needs a crown because thattreatment causes the tooth to become brittle. A strongceramic crown fit over a damaged tooth extends its lifefor many years, if not decades.

» Bridges: A bridge is a fast method of replacing amissing tooth or two teeth in a row. There must behealthy teeth on either side of this gap. The twohealthy teeth will be prepared for crowns. Then abridge consisting of two crowns plus one or morereplacement teeth will be permanently placed in yourmouth.
