Self-Assessment Tool Life is very busy these days. Giving some attention to your work life balance at dierent intervals can help you to get the most out of it. The Wheel of Life is a simple diagram that helps you to focus on your current satisfaction levels across 8 areas of your life from Zero (centre of the wheel) to 10 (perimeter of the wheel).

*NoteThis field is left for you to complete with the additional relevant area of your life that you would like to include. For example Fitness, Community, Clubs or Association etc.

Step 1 Draw along the curved line in each of the 8 Areas, at the point where it meets the relevant satisfaction score (0 -10).

Step 2 Then draw a line to connect each of the sections around the full wheel to form an inner wheel.

Step 3 This inner wheel represents your current “Wheel of Life”. If it were a real wheel on a car or bicycle – how bumpy a ride would it be?

Step 4 Remember: The aim is not about getting 10 in each section, but about trying to get a smoother journey across the elements of your life.
