twitter account go ahead and make one. *For this tutorial we will be using a free plan type of account. They offer a 30 day free trial
for the Pro plan.

Adding a Stream Choose from the options what will be the content of your stream. Let’s say

Changing Time zone Taking note of the time zone difference is important with regards to your posts. This is
actually by preference, considering the target
audience of your posts. *you should take into
consideration the time most people are tweeting, obviously when most people are awake,
daytime it is.

main twitter website. *If you do not have a list/s yet. You can create one inside Hootsuite. Just follow

don’t need to go open the main twitter website.
*however if you want to edit them, you can only do so on the main twitter website
Now hover over the left side panel again. Click
‘Streams’ icon.

Now notice this will be automatically added into your tab as a new stream with the list name on it. *It says “no result found”
meaning there is no feed yet as we haven’t added anyone
to this list.

Let’s go back to the Contacts dashboard. The “foodie” list is now added. We are now ready to add contacts to this list by
just dragging. *There is a tip on how to do it.

it comes to organizing social media feeds, tweeter feeds in
particular.

Organize your stream by “mentions”.
*By clicking this, the default would be your user name
mention. @(your username). In my case @twistVA.

Streams A stream by ‘mention’ will be added.
Now, why does it says “no results found”? It means, your username has not been mentioned yet in the twitter world (I should be more active; my lame
excuse would be this is a new account )

“add stream’ panel

Clutter free Before, hootsuite offers a downloadable desktop application. This removes all the clutter from your web browser like tabs and browser tools. However, this option
is not available anymore. Is there an alternative solution? Luckily Chrome
offers one. *However, this feature is only available for Google Chrome on Windows
and Linux.

Now what does this means?
When you double-click on the hootsuite icon, it opens in a
special streamlined window that doesn't display tabs, buttons, the address bar, or menus. To access common page options,
click the page logo in the top left corner of the window. When you click a redirected link, it will open a different window.
