Logging in to Google Classroom (Same as Google Drive)

To work on an assignment....
The “Stream” is where you will find assignments and announcements.
To work on assignment when your teacher provides a template...
Click on the Google Docs link to open the document to begin or to continue working.
To work on an assignment that you create or attach yourself...
Click “create” to create a Google Doc for the assignment.
Click “add” to attach a document from MS Word or a Google Doc you created separately.
Reminders about using Google Docs:
★ Any time you create a document, whether through a Google Classroom link or through your own Google Drive, all changes are always saved.
★ You must use your school Gmail account, not a personal one.★ Using Google Classroom, there are usually several ways to access
a Google Doc, but they will always be the same automatically-saved document.

Turning in assignments from Google Classroom...
When you open the assignment from Google Classroom, there will be a “Mark as Done” button on the right side of the assignment page.
Reminders about turning in assignments...
★ You MUST officially turn in assignments by selecting “Turn in” in the Doc or “Mark as Done” in the Google Classroom assignment. Otherwise the assignment won’t count.
★ You can always unsubmit and resubmit if you realized you made a mistake.
