How to Upload Course Compact and/or Lecture Notes on

the E-Learning Platform

Step1:

To access the

Landmark

University e-

learning platform

type the following

url on your

browser:

cms.lmu.edu.ng.

Step 2:

Click on log in and

this image appear.

Supply your

username and

password (same as

webmail username

and password)

Step 3: This takes you to your dashboard as shown below. All the courses

allocated to you are shown when you click on My Courses. Click on the course that

you want to work on.

Step 4: This takes you to the course page. Click on Turn editing on located at the

top right of the course.

Step 5: The course page is change to a format that makes it possible for you to

upload activities or resources as shown below. It is now also possible to edit the

name of the week.

To upload resources such as Course Compact or Lecture notes or any activities

(such as quiz or assignments) click on Add an activity or resource

Step 6: The page below appears after step 5. To upload resources (such as Course

Compacts or weekly lecture note), scroll down and pick File and then click on Add

Step 7:

i. The form below is displayed after step 6. Fill the columns (especially the

name column) appropriately.

ii. For Course compact, fill the name using the syntax; ‘session Course Compact’

(E.g. 2018/2019 Course Compact).

iii. For Lecture note, fill the name using the syntax; ‘WeekNumber: Title’ (E.g.

Week 1: Introduction to Application Software)

iv. The Course compact/ Lecture note can be uploaded either by clicking on Add

file or by drag and drop as shown in the image below

v. Scroll down and click on Save and return to course
