How to Share Your Screen

Activating Screen Share on the FEV Tutor Whiteboard

Before you begin, please disable your pop-up blocker.1

Download the FEV Screen Sharing Browser Extension for Chrome or Firefox.

*NOTE: If extension is not added then an alert message will appear directing you to install the extension.

The student can now log into their tutoring session and click the “Share my Screen” button at the top right of the whiteboard.

When the pop-up window appears, select“Your Entire Screen”or” Application Window” to determine if you share either all or part of your screen with your tutor.

The tutor will now be able to see all or part of your screen, depending what you selected to share. You can continue to use the whiteboard application as normal, all tools (except audio) will work.5

To stop sharing your screen, click on the Stop Sharing Button at the bottom of the screen.
