How to Register for aPremium E-Benefits Account

WHAT DO I NEED?

• DoD Common Access Card• Government Computer or one with CAC Access• A method to remember your user name & password

WHERE DO I GO?

• Using your CAC Card, go to the following website:https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/homepage

First, you must register for a premium account

by clicking Register!Do NOT Log In!

Select the “Common Access Card” option

Then Click “Continue”

Then Click “Register”

Create your password

Select and answer each question.Then Click “Continue”

Click “Yes”This will bring you to a screen of

pictures. Select one and remember it for your log in

process.

This is your user name for Ebenefits.va.gov and DoDTAP.mil

Then press “Continue”.CHUCK NORRIS

Add an email

address if needed.

Then Click “Continue”

Congratulations!You have a Premium

Account.Please print this page

or take a picture. You will need this as proof of E-Benefits Registration at the

end of your Transition Process.
