To record live TV, your ARCHOS device needs to be connected to a DVR station Gen 5 or DVR travel adapter.

If you want to remove TV commercials from your recordings, refer to the guide “HOW TO EDIT VIDEO ON YOUR ARCHOS PLAYER.”

1 Connect your ARCHOS device to the DVR station. At the Home Screen, select the Recorder icon and press ‘OK.’

2 The TV Program Guide window will appear. Press twice on the button. The Video Recorder window will appear. Your device will then show the image coming from the TV tuner.

3 To start recording, press ‘OK’ or select Start Recording from the on-screen menu. A red recording circle will appear on the screen. To stop recording, press ‘X’ or select Stop Recording from the on-screen menu.

4 Your ARCHOS device will save the recording on the ARCHOS hard drive. To watch recorded programs, select the Video icon from the Home Screen and press ‘OK.’ Select the ‘Rec’ folder to see a list of all your recorded programs.
