an Instance
in Amazon
Login to your AWS EC2 Console
Click “Sign in to the AWS Console”
Login, Enter your e-mail address
Login, Enter your password
Click
“Sign in using our secure server”
EC2 Dashboard
Click “Launch Instance”
Choose an Amazon Machine Image
Tick “Free tier only”
Look for
“Amazon Linux AMI 2015.09.1”
Click “Select”
Choose an Instance Type
“Micro instances , t1.micro”
Click
“Next: Configure Instance Details”
Configure Instance Details
Click “Next: Add Storage”
Add Storage
Type the Hard Disk Size (GB)
Click “Next: Tag Instance”
Tag Instance
Type in the name of the Instance
Click
“Next: Configure Security Group”
Configure Security Group
Type the “Security Group Name”
Type the “Description”
Select the connection types
Wordpress minimum connection type
SSH connection for secure shell
access to your instance
MySQL connection for Database
services
HTTP connection for Web services
Click “Review and Launch”
Choose the type of volume
Select “Next”
Review
Click “Launch”
“Create a new key pair”
Enter “Key pair name”
Click “Download Key Pair”
Click “Save File”
Click “OK”
Enter the desired name of file
Click “Save”
Click “Launch Instances”
Click “Open Containing Folder”
Key Pair download is complete
Wait for the Instance to Launch
Instance is complete
This is your newly created Instance
Take note of the following
You will need the Public IP to access your server.
You have now created your
FIRST AMAZON INSTANCE!
