How to login for the first time?

You’ll start by creating your profile via a link on the WWIN website or email sent from the WWIN team.

Once you answer a few quick questions about yourself, you’ll receive an email (like the one on the right).

• Subject line: Welcome to WWINdow Shopping – your credentials are here!

• From email: [email protected]

That email will include your Registration ID and a link to log into the portal.

Once you arrive at the login page:

• It will request your Badge/Registration ID

• Then you’ll be prompted to create a password for your account.

Once you select “My Availability,” you’ll see the screen on the right:

• A box will pop-up with the event schedule.

• Times will automatically adjust to your time-zone.

• Other participants (buyers & exhibitors) can request a meeting with you during the dedicated meeting times, and whenever you are marked as “Available.”

• To block off time, just toggle each

time block, or an entire day. Note: If your schedule changes, you can always suggest a new time for a meeting with a fellow event participant.

• Then click “Event Agenda” (either on the left menu or the main menu in the middle) to view your agenda for the entire week.

• To view full session details, click the session title.

• Then click “Add to Schedule”.

• Once the session is added to your schedule, the “Watch Live Stream” button will appear.

Based on your profile and other participant profiles, the “Recommended For You” section will show profiles of brands, products & other buyers who the platform matches you with.

• Meet opens a pop-up window to request a virtual meeting with either an individual or a company.

• Interested shows the event participant that you are interested in learning more about the company, product or individual.

• Skip removes the event participant from showing on the “Recommended For You” list.

There are two ways to initiate a chat with company, Showroom (vendor) Representative or fellow buyer.

1. Add a chat message to a meeting request.

2. Simply select the “chat” button on an individual’s or company’s profile.

Click the “Chat” button to initiate a conversation. A box will appear in the lower right of your browser window.

If you chat with a company, any of the Showroom (vendor) Representatives associated with that company will be able to reply back to your Chat.

This is a great option if you had an initial question without knowing who at the company you should meet or interest with!

You will receive an email notification if someone sends you a chat, or if someone replies to your chat.

• On the left navigation bar, under the “More” section, select “Showroom Listings”

• Then select the downward arrow to filter by specific types.

• Here you’ll be able to search for specific companies/brands that meet your needs by filtering by product category, average price-point, shipping turnaround times, location & more.

To find and connect with representatives from specific companies:

• On the left navigation bar, under the “More” section, select “Showroom Representatives”

• Then select the downward arrow to filter by specific types.

• Here you’ll be able to search for specific company reps that you may want to connect with. You can use this if you’re looking for a specific contact. **Keep in mind that you can always send chats or connect with companies and a rep will reach back out to you!

To find and connect with fellow buyers:

• On the left navigation bar, under the “More” section, select “Buyers”

• Then select the downward arrow to filter by specific types.

• Here you’ll be able to search for specific buyers that you may be interested in connecting with –based on their location, company or title. This is a great way to build your network, share ideas and best practices with other buyers!

How to request a meeting with a Company?

To request a meeting with a Company:

• Once you navigate to a Company profile/Showroom, there will be a Request Meeting button (to the right).

• You can select who from the company you want to meet with, and it will automatically include times that are available for them.

• If you don’t know who from the company you want to meet with specifically – that’s ok! The invite will be sent to the full team and someone will respond.

This is a great option if you find that the first person from a particular company doesn’t have a lot of available meeting time. You can quickly change who from the company you can meet with!

• From the list of Showroom Reps, you can click “Meet”, a box will pop-up with the event participant profile on the right.

• The scheduling tool will only show times that are available for both participants. Select a time that works for you.

• You can add a message, then click “Request Meeting.”

• They will then receive an email prompting them to accept, decline, or suggest a new time.

• Once the meeting has been accepted, you will also receive an email and it will be confirmed on your WWINdow Shopping calendar.

How to request a meeting with a Buyer?

To request a meeting with a fellow buyer:

• From the list of Buyers, you can click “Meet”, a box will pop-up with the event participant profile on the right.

• The scheduling tool will only show times that are available for both participants. Select a time that works for you.

• You can add a message, then click “Request Meeting.”

• They will then receive an email prompting them to accept, decline, or suggest a new time.

• Once the meeting has been accepted, you will also receive an email and it will be confirmed on your WWINdow Shopping calendar.

You can either accept a meeting request via (1) the email notification or (2) within the platform.

• To accept via email notification, click “Accept” in the email.

• To accept via the platform, click “My Schedule” on the left navigation panel. Then filter by “Meeting Status” to view all meeting requests still awaiting a response.

Note: You can also decline or reschedule within the platform.

How do Virtual Meetings work?Once you have a meeting scheduled:

• You will receive an email reminder 10 minutes before the meeting is set to begin with a link to join the virtual meeting room.

• You can also join directly from the platform. Under “My Schedule”, click the meeting details. The “Open Virtual Meeting Room” button will become active 5 minutes before the meeting starts.

• The virtual meeting room will open a new tab on your computer and your browser will request access to your microphone and camera.

Note: Google Chrome is the preferred browser for Grip Virtual Meetings.
