Problem

Do different brands of popcorn leave different amounts of un-popped popcorn kernels?

Hypothesis

I predict that the Orville Redenbacher’s will leave the least amount of kernels left over after being popped, because it is the highest quality brand.

Materials

Procedure

Need 4 different brands of popcornPop the popcorn for the same amount of timeTake pictures while popcorn is poppingCount all of the un-popped popcorn kernels in each bag and record it down on paper.Look at all of my results for how many popcorn kernels are left in the bag and then determine which brand of popcorn pops the most kernels.

Conclusion

My Hypothesis was wrong Orville Redenbacher’s left 33 un-popped popcorn kernels, when ACT II only had 27 un-popped popcorn kernels.
