ALIS
What is Alis?
A Level Information System
Developed by Durham university
Collection of data from thousands of students over many years.
The Questionnaire GCSE results provide target grades
Target grades are worked out from the average GCSE points score
Target grades give students a point to start from.
The targets grades are aspirational, but achievable. Because we believe you should aim higher.
Av GCSE point score and Banding The average GCSE points score is produced by adding up your individual GCSE scores and dividing by the number of GSCEs taken: Grade Scores: A* 8, A 7, B 6, C 5, D 4, E 3.
