First Campus First Campus This was part of the First Campus initiative at the University of Glamorgan to encourage younger people to aim for university after school.

The Aim of the programme was to give us an insight into the importance of coal to Wales both now and in the past.

The Five W’s The five W’s represent where, who, when,

what and why. We were given a five W’s sheet and fifteen pictures. We had to study each picture and then write down what questions we wanted to ask about the picture using our thinking skills.
