HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMBISHWAJIT DEYROLL NO. -09M.C.A 6TH SEMTITLE OF THE PROJECT:HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.ABSTRACT:Hotel management system is software for automating the room selection process by the customer. This software keeps the records of customer and different types of rooms and also generates a bill against the room booked by the customer.

Project Definition:Hotel management system is software for automating the room selection and billing system of a hotel. It keeps the record of each type and categories of rooms which are available in the hotel and update the availability of the rooms which are booked by the guest or customer. Each time a room is booked is stored in a table and after the customer left, the room is again seen as available to all. The system also generates a bill against the room booked by the customer and also keeps a record of the customer. Here in this system the admin can add new room type, new room category, new floor and can update the room details of a particular room. In this system there are many master modules through which the admin can insert data direct to the database and can also modify them. The admin can select new staff member and can generate an ID and a password for the particular staff. In this system the admin can also see the status of the room available and other details related to his/her hotel.Here the staff selects the room type according to the customers need and after satisfying the needs the staff inserts the customer details and generates a bill against the room booked.
