Welcome to HOOS, Hondas Online Ordering System. This phase of HOOS will enable you to Enquire or Place quick orders with Honda through Dealernet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Its aim is making the enquiry/ordering process much more efficient, error free and convenient. This document runs through, step by step, “how to” log onto the system, place or enquire about an order and manage your orders through the ordering/receiving process.

Welcome to HOOS, Honda’s Online Ordering System.

This phase of HOOS will enable you to Enquire or Place quick orders with Honda through Dealernet, 24 hours a day,

7 days a week. Its aim is making the enquiry/ordering process much more efficient, error free and convenient.

This document runs through, step by step, “how to” log onto the system, place or enquire about an order and

manage your orders through the ordering/receiving process.

How to access the Enquiry/Quick order screen through the HOOS System

1. Please log onto Honda Dealernet. If you do not have a log in, you can register on the following web site:

https://dealernet.hondampe.com.au or contact Web Support for your username and Password on

03 9270 1111 (follow the prompts).

2. Once logged in, please click on the Parts Quick Order link in the bottom left hand corner. (see blue arrow)

Quick Enquiry/Order Home Page

1. This link will log you off by closing the open window.

2. This link will display your ‘HOOS Quick Order’ order history – refer to page 7

3. To place an order or enquire about stock, price or availability, click on “New Enquiry/Order” – refer to page

4,5 & 6.

4. This link is a DMS File Upload. Load your DMS file direct to Honda’s internal system.

Quick Order Entry – Enquiry/Order Screen

You can complete both of your Enquiries and Orders in one screen.

1. Type the part number you wish to order or enquire about. This is a dynamic list. If you do not know the

part number, simply type in the first four (4) digits of the part number, click on the search button and a

drop down menu will appear. You can then select the correct part number with the keyboard or your

computer mouse. When the part number selected has been superseded, the successor part will be

displayed. A message will appear advising you of the part number change.

2. Specify the quantity desired.

3. The order type can be changed to either “DAILY” or “STOCK” orders.

Note: You can combine your ‘Daily’ and ‘Stock’ on the same list. The order will split into two different

order types when confirming the order. (See pg 6)

4. Click “Check Price and Availability” to add the line to the Enquiry/Order.

To type another part number, repeat the process as necessary.

5. Continue to Order – to process enquiry into official order

6. ‘Clear this Enquiry’ will delete this list of transactions.

Enquiry/Order details:

1. Displays the enquiry quantity you have entered. You can update this field and press enter/click at any time

to update the enquiry/order amount. The Enquiry field will only display a maximum quantity of 100. A

message will appear as 100+. Your order/enquiry can exceed 100 – there are no minimum amounts to

order.

2. Displays quantity allocated (real time display) if you wish to proceed with the order.

3. Number of units on backorder if you decide to proceed with the order.

3a. By clicking on the backorder quantity an Estimated Despatch Date will appear in a blue box. To remove

the text box, click on the ’x’ in the right hand corner of the box.

4. The backorder check box is automatically defaulted to ‘YES – to backorder’. By un-ticking the check box the

line item then becomes ‘NO – to backorder’

5. Wholesale Price / Retail Price. The price is determined by your choice of either “Daily” or “Stock” type

orders.

5a. Pricing toggle button – You can select whether you want to see Wholesale or Retail prices. The retail price

can determine how much to quote customers instantaneously.

6. Estimated despatch date for your allocated parts.

7. ‘Include on Order’ button will allow you to select whether you want to include the part number on your

order/quote. By un-ticking the box your part will not appear when you press the ‘Continue to Order’

button or ‘Check Price and Availability’ button.

8. Click on the ‘Continue to Order’ button to confirm your list.

9. ‘Clear this Enquiry’ button will clear the screen. It will not delete a saved order.

Confirmation Page

This page provides you an overall order confirmation split via “Daily” and “Stock’ type orders.

1. Indicates your order has been split. (If you are placing two different order types).

1a. Describes the type of order you are confirming – ‘Daily or Stock’

2. Please enter your order number. (An order number must be entered to proceed)

3. Choose delivery address (if you have multiple stores)

4. Save your order as a “Quote” if you wish to attend to it at a later stage or store the details for a ‘Trade

customer’. The Quote can be redeemed by clicking on ‘Order History’ on the left hand side of the screen

5. Confirms the order. Move onto next order type. (if applicable) – if single order, refer to Pt. 7.

6. The “Go Back” button allows you to return to the previous screen to make changes.

7. Click here to confirm the entire order. (For single order type orders only) If you have completed an order

that does not need to be split then you will need to follow above steps 2,3 and 7.

Order History

Once you have completed your order you will be taken to the Order History Page, you can also access this on

the Left Hand Side of the screen.

1. To retain your Order History, you can recall the information several ways. Refer to the explanation table

above.

2. Displays Honda’s Order Reference number. The Honda order reference number will appear after the order

has been allocated in the Honda Internal system.

3. The status will update as the order moves through its natural process, you can refresh the list to get an

update. All saved quotes will be referenced with ‘Saved’.

4. You can ‘Delete’ any saved orders. All saved orders will remain in the system for approx 30 days from the

date of process. After the expiry date, the ‘Saved’ order status will change to ‘EXPIRED’. Your order cannot

be redeemed back into the Enquiry/Order screen. The expired order can only be viewed and not modified.
