一二年期號起，將不會編製《香港經濟趨勢》。然而，本刊物內

的統計數字仍可從各統計表下提供的網站免費獲取。

Notice

The Census and Statistics Department has recently conducted a review

on the compilation of statistical publications and has decided that the Hong Kong Economic Trends will no longer be produced as from the 2012 series. Nevertheless, the statistics in the publication can still be obtained free of charge from the websites as provided under individual statistical tables.

本半月刊每月月中及月底出版。今期所載統計數字

的截數日期為二零一一年十二月二十九日（證券交

易的統計數字則截至二零一一年十二月二十八

日）。除另有註明外，統計數字是由政府統計處編

製。有關本刊所涉及概念和方法的詳細解釋，請參

閱《香港統計月刊》。

This half-monthly publication is published in the middle and at the end of each month. The cut-off date of statistics presented in this issue is 29 December 2011, except for statistics on stocks and shares (cut-off date being 28 December2011). Unless otherwise specified, the statistics are compiledby the Census and Statistics Department. 政府統計處編製的各綜合性統計刊物簡介 A n Introduction to the General Statistical D es Compiled by the Census and Statistics Department ig ts 《香港經濟趨勢》（即本刊）是政府統計處編製的

綜合性統計刊物之一，其他綜合性統計刊物包括

《香港統計月刊》和《香港統計年刊》。這些綜合

性統計刊物輯錄的統計數據，主題範圍十分廣泛，

涵蓋香港社會、經濟和工商業。它們各具特色，出

版頻次、所載數列的統計期、詳細程度及形式各有

不同，相輔相成，組成一個全面的參考系列。

The Hong Kong Economic Trends, i.e. this publication, is one of the general statistical digests compiled by the Census and Statistics Department. Other digests include the Hong Kong Monthly Digest of Statistics and Hong Kong Annual Digest of Statistics. These digests bring together statistical data which cover a wide range of topics relating to the society, economy and businesses of Hong Kong. The digests are each featured in its own way. They are published at different frequencies with statistical data series presented in various lengths, depths and formats. Complementing each other, together they form a comprehensive series for reference.

會及經濟統計數列，並在可行的情況下將備妥的最

近15個月份的按月或按季統計數字，連同最近三個完整年份的按年統計數字一同刊載。此外，該月刊

亦載有超過20個統計圖，展示選定主要統計項目在過去10年的按年趨勢及最近兩年的按季或按月趨勢。

The Hong Kong Monthly Digest of Statistics is a compact volume of official statistics containing about 140 tables in 13 sections. It collects up-to-date statistical series on various aspects of the social and economic situation of Hong Kong. Statistical data are presented wherever possible in the form of monthly or quarterly figures for the latest 15 months for which data are available, together with annual figures for the latest three complete years. For selected key statistical items, over 20 charts depicting the annual trend in the past decade and quarterly or monthly trend in the recent two years are also available.

涵蓋七年時間，包括最近六年及對上第11年的數據，以助讀者比較近年和過去10年期或兩個五年期的發展。

The Hong Kong Annual Digest of Statistics aims to provide detailed annual statistical series on various aspects of the social and economic developments of Hong Kong. Most of the data are presented in respect of seven years: the most recent six years and the last 11th year. This facilitates readers to compare the developments over the recent years and the 10-year or two 5-year intervals in the past.

政府統計處定期性統計數據發布日期一覽表（二零一一年十二月三十日至二零一二年一月三十日） Schedule for Issuing Regular Releases of Statistical Data by the Census and Statistics Department (30.12.2011 to 30.1.2012)

每年九月底，本處會向傳媒公布翌年定期性統計數據新聞發布的詳細時間表。本表載列未來一個月的發布日期。

數據於發布日期下午四時三十分向傳媒公布。有關的新聞公布於稍後時間載列於政府統計處的網站上

(www.censtatd.gov.hk)。發布日期下午四時三十分後致電本處，亦可查詢有關統計數據。

The date schedule for issuing regular press releases of statistical data in the ensuing year is issued to the mass media in end September of each year. This table gives the schedule for the coming one month. Data are issued to the media at 4:30 p.m. on the date of release. The press releases are posted shortly afterwards on the Department’s website (www.censtatd.gov.hk). Telephone enquiries may also be made to the Department after 4:30 p.m. on the release date.
