Honeyville Nature Reserve is currently being planned as an ecovillage and centre of Biodiversity within an old farm with an extensive conservation area. Planning approval has been granted in part with the final approval imminent. The PDC at Honeyville is designed to use the diverse rich tapestry of the landscape as a teaching ground for students to visualize Permaculture designs that harness the abundant natural resources in a sustainable manner. This integration between a planned ecovillage and its landscape makes for realistic and practical application of Permaculture designs that will empower students to design their own sustainable environments anywhere.
