MINISTRY GROUP FOR AUGUST
Teaching Ministry Group: Elder: Brad Ferguson
Ministerial Staff: Adam Johnson

The group taps into the spiritual gifts of Teacher, Exhorter, Pastor/Shepherd, Server, Administrator.
Please pray for this ministry as they exercise their spiritual gifts.
Adult Sunday School Ministry: Team Leader : David Dafoe
“BE HEARD” Let your Christian voice be heard on issues of concern that affect our Biblical princi-ples and the direction our country is moving in. You can go to Tega Cay Baptist website: http://tegacaybaptist.org/resources/be-heard/ and you will find contact in-formation for South Carolina’s state and national representatives. You can make a difference.
The October 2016 Honduras mission trip is almost here! We are still looking for people to join us October 8–15 in Honduras where we will be helping a Calvario church plant at Macuelizo (a small mountain village outside of the city) construct Sunday school class-rooms. While in Honduras, we also plan to visit Nueva Esperanza, the daycare in the city that our church helps support. The total cost of the trip is $1,200.00 and that includes airline tickets, in country transportation, meals and housing. Please have the total payment into the church office by Sunday, September 4. For those going for the first time no experience is necessary. We can use your talents in many different ways. For those of you who have gone before you know the blessings given and received. If you are interested please
contact John & Bonita Jones at [email protected].
Serving Our Neighbors is a ministry that is supported by Tega Cay Baptist throughout the year. SON ministries’ items to replenish are sports drinks, can pasta and toilet paper. You can place your dona-tion in SON’s food pantry located at the back of the Worship Center.
Those who are eligible for baptism and would like to be baptized, please call the church office at 803-548-2600 no later than Thursday, Septem-ber 8th, 2016. If you would like to know more about the qualifications for baptism, please call the church office or speak to one of the pastors.
SEPTEMBER 18th
Monday - August 29th - 6:30-7:30pm at the Tega Cay Bap-tist land near the Community Garden. Victory Sports Conquer League, the special needs team, will be playing kickball. CN2 News is expected to be on site for the opening night’s game. It would be great to have a large, enthusiastic crowd from Tega
Cay Baptist cheering for the athletes. Bring a chair or blanket or stand to watch a fun game with the special needs students. Victory Sports will be on-site each Monday (except Labor Day) through October 17th with these special athletes. Janie Chapman Offering for S. C.
State Missions
State Goal: $1,850,000
Tega Cay Baptist Goal: $1,000
In John 21:17b, Peter passionately exclaims to Jesus, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus’ response to Peter is one of equal passion - “Feed My sheep.” Through the Janie Chapman State Missions Offering, as South Carolina Baptists, we have the opportunity to give and pray so that more may be “fed” – physically and spiritually, through a variety of ministries.
Week of Prayer : Sept. 11-18th
