Cutting Instructions Please note: all strips are cut across the width of fabric (WOF) from selvage to selvage edge unless otherwise noted.From the Block Panel - White/Grey (A):• Fussy cut (12) 7 ½” squares, each centered on one scene.

From the Holly Leaves - Red (B), cut:• (2) 7 ½” x width of fabric (WOF) strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 2 ½” x 7 ½” strips.• (2) 11 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 2 ½” x 11 ½” strips.• (2) 2 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 2 ⅞” squares.

From the Knit Texture w/Snow - Dk. Grey (C), cut:• (2) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 2 ½” squares.• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 2 ½” x 64 ½” strips.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 2 ½” x 52 ½” strips. From the Holly Leaves - Lt. Grey (D), cut:• (3) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 3 ⅞” squares.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (48) 2 ½” squares.

From the Large Snowflakes - Red (H), cut:• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 5 ½” x 68 ½” strips.• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 5 ½” x 62 ½” strips.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 7 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 7 ½” Fabric A block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 11 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A block to make (1) block center. Repeat to make (12) block centers total. Trim (6) of the blocks to 10 ½” square to make (6) Block One centers. Trim (6) of the blocks to 8 ½” square to make (6) Block Two centers.

2. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric C square on the top left corner of one Block One center, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.

3. Follow Figure 3 for the seam direction to add a 2 ½” Fabric C square to each of the remaining corners of the Block One center to complete (1) Block One center (Fig. 4).

4. Place (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric G square on top of (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric F square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 5). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 5). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 6) to make two GF units (Fig. 7). Trim the GF units to measure 3 ½” square. Repeat to make (24) GF units total.

From the Tonal Pinecones - Grey (I), cut:• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (24) 4 ½” squares.

From the Winter Motifs - Grey (Backing), cut:• (2) 86” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew strips together and trim to make the 70” x 86” back.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Photo while assembling.)13. Sew (1) Block One to each side of (1) Block Two to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Three.

14. Sew (1) Block Two to each side of (1) Block One to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Four.

15. Sew the four rows together, in numerical order, to make the quilt top.

16. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 64 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 52 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top.

17. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 68 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 62 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 18. Layer and quilt as desired.

19. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric G strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

20. Bind as desired.

6. Follow Figure 8 and sew (4) GF units, (8) 2 ½” x 3 ½” Fabric E strips, (8) DE units and (1) Block One center to make (1) Block One. Repeat to make (6) Block Ones total.

7. Repeat Step 4 using (24) 2 ⅞” Fabric E squares and (24) 2 ⅞” Fabric B squares to make (48) 2 ½” EB units.

8. Sew (2) EB units and (2) 2 ½” Fabric D squares together to make (1) corner block. Repeat to make (24) corner blocks total.

9. Place (1) 4 ½” Fabric I square on the left side of (1) 4 ½” x 8 ½” Fabric E strip, right sides together (Fig. 9). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 9). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 10). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance.

12. Follow Figure 13 and sew (4) corner blocks, (4) IEG units and (1) Block Two center together to make (1) Block Two. Repeat to make (6) Block Twos total.

5. Repeat Step 4 using (24) 3 ⅞” Fabric D squares and (24) 3 ⅞” Fabric E squares to make (48) 3 ½” DE units.

10. Place (1) 4 ½” Fabric G square on the right side of the 4 ½’ x 8 ½” Fabric E strip, right sides together (Fig. 11). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 11). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 12). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance to make (1) IEG unit.

11. Repeat Steps 9-10 to make (24) IEG units total.
