Menu Screens and Operation

This chapter describes the individual overview screens and menus in the HMI Display. HMI display provides 6 primary screens.

The following pages will describes details regarding theindividual sub menus and statuses.

Pumps

The main screen is created to provide most necessary information when arriving to a pump station. Besides the top bar and clock/date, the screen provides the pumpscreen, including easy readable information on thecapacity for the station, fro the individual pumps and the level of the well.If the screen is black, press anywhere on the touchscreen to activate.

The Ampere meter illustrates the actual power consumption of the pump. The green area is illustrating the safe range of 10% -/+ of the nominal current. Thisis creating a simple visualization of the power consumption being acceptable. If the acceptable range is exeeded the colour will change from green to orange. The grey line illustrates the acceptable range of nominal current, this value isentered in SETPOINTS>CurrentThis will make it easy to evaluate if the actual power consumption is proportionalto the nominal current of the individual pump.

Pump, detailed screen

The configuration parameters for Pump Control without choosing Control Words:

Menu Item Choice Default Description

Pump Setup Choose the basic settings for the individual pump in Pump Control 1.The amount of controllable pumps is set in Number of Pumps.

Control Output(DO)

1-2 (8) Select which DO relay to control the pumpUsing Instrument Link: DO# specifications: Working(relay function), function, Delayis set in I/O Signals> Digital Output

Start Level Activation level of the pumps or valves. If the start level is set higher than the stop level the pump controller is configuredfor pumping out (emptying). If the start level is set lower than the stop level, the pump controller is configuredfor pumping in (filling).

Stop Level Level for stopping the pumps or valves.

Delay (sec.) 0-59999 0 To avoid short term failure modes or level exceedances activating the relays, adelay can be set. If the assigned pumps should not start simultaneously due tostrain load, the delay can be set differently for each relay. If alternation is activated, the delay of the P2 follows the second (leg) pump in thesequence.

PumpAlternation

In Use/ Not inUse

In use When choosing alternation, the alternation will be between all DO outputs selectedin Pump Control 1.The output relays can be set for not in use or in use.If “not in use” is selected, the start and stop level values entered for the individualrelay are the ones that activates the DO relay – andonly that specific relay. When using alternation the alternating pumps are activated in a cycle, so that whena start level is passed, the next relay in the cycle is activated. If several start levelsare passed, several pumps will be activated.

The second graph (from the top), is the nominal value for the pumps. Hereby scaling their graphicalvalue.

Nominal graph The nominal Graph is grey. When a pump reaches its nominal current the graph will be on this line. All pumps is scaled towards this line. Still the graphs relating to the pumps running on individual normalcurrents. This way, the pumps running on significant diverging currents will still be shown in the graph.
