The new HLS CANNULAE are designed for implantation

during cardiac surgery, but MAQUET now also offers a

complete solution for extended extracorporeal life support

systems from tip to tip. The wide HLS CANNULAE range

offers vessel access for the veno-venous, arterio-venous

and veno-arterial cannulation. They provide easy and safe

connection of peripheral vessels to an extracorporeal circuit.

BIOLINE coated cannulae are available for applications in

extended respiratory and / or circulatory support. They can

be used in combination with MAQUET‘s PLS or HLS Systems

for (up to) 30 days, but also for short-term applications in

standard cardiac surgery.

SMOOTH TRANSITIONS AND KINK RESISTANT CANNULA BODY

MAQUET’s new HLS CANNULAE can be inserted percu-

taneously or with a surgical cut-down. Arterial and venous

cannulae are available in a choice of sizes and in sertion

lengths to meet all needs for peripheral cannulation.

Cannula bodies are made of biocompatible polyurethane

Reinforced with a flat wire for lowest wall thickness

and high flow rates

All cannulae can be inserted percutaneously over

a 0.038" guidewire

BIOLINE coated versions are available

Extended application time of 30 days in combination

PERCUTANEOUS INSERTION KIT: Two kits with

different lengths of guidewire are available to meet the

needs for arterial and venous peripheral cannulation.
