Venous Cannulae

Sorin Venous Cannulae are intended to be used as connections to the extracorporeal circuit in cardiopulmonary bypass procedures to drain venous blood from the patient.Sorin Group pediatric single stage cannulae are available with optimized 90° angle tip to grant optimum venous return.The tubing is clear and transparent, medical grade, no DOP, atossic PVC and is designed to lower elasticity loss during hypothermia.

Sorin Aortic Cannulae are intended to be used as connection to the extracorporeal circuit in the cardiopulmonary bypass procedures in order to return the aortic blood from the circuit into the patient blood fl ow path.Sorin Group’s Pediatric Aortic Cannulae are available with bent and straight tip, with wire and without wire reinforcement, with or without connector and optional luer lock for venting.Our Aortic Cannulae are designed to optimize fl ow characteristics, reduce turbulence and minimize pressure loss. The tubing in clear and transparent, no DOP, medical grade PVC, lower elasticity loss during hypothermia.

Sorin Group offers a complete range of pediatric cannulae validated for aortic and venous cannulation produced with polyurethane tubing characterized by a very thin wall thickness and design to optimize fl ow and improve biocompatibility. These cannulae are available in different sizes for pediatric and small adults with side holes to optimize fl ow dynamics. The introducer, with its tapered or rounded tip, facilitates cannula insertion.
