Exchange ProgramAll full-time students are guaranteed to spend a semester at one of ourexchange partners, where they will continue to pay HKUST tuition fees andacquire credits for the courses they take. In 2013, over 95% of our students were placed to their first or second choice of exchange school.
My MBA at HKUST and exchange to Columbia allowed me to develop well-rounded finance knowledge and industry connections at two of the world’s most important financial hubs.
In addition, I applied for Citi’s Global Engagement Management Associate Program through Columbia’s career services. With the advice from an HKUST alumnus who was working at Citi in New York, I managed to get into this highly selective program.

This year, we mobilized 20 volunteers in our class to support the 4th Credit Suisse Asia MBA Football Tournament. All of the sweat and efforts that our team put into training paid off, as we beat other top Asian MBA schools and kept the trophy at HKUST.

Imagine what a difference a year could make. Now imagine spending it in a serene environment framed by green hillsides and the sparkling waters of Clearwater Bay, with one of the world’s most dynamic city centers just a short trip away.
HKUST is located in the east of Hong Kong’s New Territories. Other parts of Hong Kong are within easy reach through the city’s extensive subway system, which is linked to the campus via a short bus ride.
Our business school is housed in a brand new self-contained building with state-of-the-art facilities and learning technologies. A student lounge, career library, classrooms and breakout rooms are available for MBA students’ exclusive use.
Whether you decide to live on or off campus, the living is easy and convenient when you study at HKUST. You can apply for on-campus housing for a single-occupancy room of around 100 sq. ft. with shared facilities at HK$3,800 (equivalent to ~US$480) per month (tentative).
Students with families or who want to live off campus can opt for an apartment near HKUST, such as in Tseung Kwan O, which is just 10 minutes away.

There is one MBA intake commencing in August each year. Admissions operate on a phase basis.International applicants are encouraged to apply in Phase 1 or 2 to allow sufficient time for personal preparations and arrival at Hong Kong for the MBA.

The program fee for the full-time MBA program (either 12-month or 16-month mode) stands at HK$545,000 (equivalent to ~US$69,900) for intake 2014.
Successful applicants are required to arrange a non-refundable deposit of HK$50,000 (equivalent to ~US$6,400), which will be offset against their outstanding program fees. The balance will be paid in two installments.
