The Mountain of the Lord’s House In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all.

O monte da casa do senhor Morará o lobo com o cordeiro, e o leopardo com o cabrito se deitará, e o bezerro, e o filho de leão, e a nédia ovelha viverão juntos, e um menino pequeno os guiará.

The cow will graze near the bear. The cub and the calf will lie down together. The lion will eat hay like a cow. The baby will play safely near the hole of a cobra. Yes, a little child will put its hand in a nest of deadly snakes without harm. Nothing will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain. (Isaiah 11:6-9) A vaca e a ursa pastarão juntas, e seus filhos juntos se deitarão; e o leão comerá palha como o boi. Ezekiel’s Vision of God’s Throne Ezekiel: As I looked, I saw a great storm coming from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. There was fire inside the cloud, and in the middle of the fire glowed something like gleaming amber. From the center of the cloud came four living beings that looked human, except that each had four faces and four wings.

A Visão de Ezequiel do Trono de Deus Ezequiel: Olhei e vi uma tempestade que vinha do Norte. Raios saíam de uma nuvem enorme. Em volta da nuvem, o céu estava em fogo, e no meio do fogo havia uma coisa que brilhava como bronze. No meio da tempestade, vi o que me pareciam quatro animais. A sua forma era de gente, porém cada um tinha quatro caras e quatro asas.

Each had a human face in the front, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle at the back. They went in whatever direction the spirit chose, and they moved straight forward in any direction without turning around.

Cada criatura tinha quatro caras diferentes: na frente, a cara era de gente; do lado direito, era de leão; do lado esquerdo, era de boi; e atrás a cara era de águia. Cada criatura podia olhar para as quatro direções, e por isso o grupo ia aonde queria, sem precisar virar.

As I looked at these beings, I saw four wheels touching the ground beside them, one wheel belonging to each. The rims of the four wheels were tall and frightening, and they were covered with eyes all around. Spread out above them was a surface like the sky, glittering like crystal. Beneath this surface the wings of each living being stretched out to touch the others’ wings. As they stood with wings lowered, a voice spoke from beyond the crystal surface above them.

Quando eu estava olhando para os quatro animais, vi quatro rodas no chão, uma ao lado de cada um deles. Dentro de cada roda havia outra roda, atravessada, e assim, sem virar, as rodas podiam rodar em qualquer direção. Os aros das rodas eram cobertos de olhos. Acima das cabeças dos animais havia uma coisa que parecia uma cobertura curva feita de cristal brilhante. Debaixo da cobertura, cada animal abria duas asas na direção das asas do outro que estava ao seu lado e cobria o corpo com as outras duas asas. Quando paravam de voar, abaixavam as asas, mas ainda se ouvia um som que vinha de cima da cobertura que estava sobre as cabeças deles.

Above this surface was something that looked like a throne made of blue lapis lazuli. And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a man. From what appeared to be his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor. All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me. (Ezekiel 1)

Acima da cobertura curva havia uma coisa parecida com um trono feito de safira. Nele, estava sentado alguém que parecia um homem e que brilhava como se fosse bronze no meio do fogo. Todo ele brilhava com o mesmo clarão de fogo. E a sua luz tinha todas as cores do arco-íris nas nuvens. Esta era a luz brilhante que mostra a presença da glória do Senhor. (Ezequiel 1)

New Jerusalem John the Beloved: [An angel] took me in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, New Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious stone—like jasper as clear as crystal. The city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles.

A nova Jerusalém João: [O anjo] E levoume em espírito a uma montanha muito alta. De lá vi aquela magnífica cidade, a santa Jerusalém. E vinha descendo do céu, de junto de Deus, com a glória do Senhor; cintilava com o fulgor de uma pedra muito preciosa de jaspe, transparente como o mais puro cristal. Tinha muralhas largas e altas, e doze entradas guardadas por doze anjos. As suas muralhas repousavam sobre doze alicerces, nas quais estavam escritos os nomes dos doze apóstolos.

The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass. I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city.

As doze portas eram feitas de pérolas; cada porta era de uma só pérola! A praça principal da cidade era toda ela de ouro puro, cintilante como vidro de cristal. Não vi nela templo nenhum, porque o Senhor Deus todopoderoso e o Cordeiro, sempre ali presentes, é que são o seu templo. A cidade não precisa nem de Sol nem de Lua, porque a glória de Deus a ilumina — o Cordeiro é a sua luz.

Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb [Jesus]. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. (Revelation 21:10-14,21-22; 22:1-2)

Finalmente o anjo mostroume o rio da água da vida, limpa e cristalina, que vinha do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro, e que fluía pelo meio da rua principal da cidade. De cada lado do rio crescia a árvore da vida, que produz doze variedades de frutos, um em cada mês do ano; as suas folhas são utilizadas para curar as nações.(Apocalipse 21: 10-14, 21-23;22:1-2)

God loves you, and He's looking forward to living with you in heaven for eternity. You can receive His love and a place in heaven by simply praying this little prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for coming and dying for me so I can be forgiven my sins, experience Your love here and now, and have the promise of eternal life in Heaven. I open my heart and invite You in. Amen.

Deus o ama e não vê a hora de viver com você no Céu, para a eternidade! Você pode receber o amor de Deus e ter um lugar no Céu simplesmente fazendo esta pequena oração: Querido Jesus, obrigado por vir e morrer por mim para eu poder ser perdoado pelos meus pecados, vivenciar Seu amor aqui e agora, e contar com a promessa de vida eterna no Céu.
