“In the Beginning” Series
I’ll be away a couple of Sundays in October in Gospel Meetings. These meetings
complete my meetings for the year. I plan to be back here with you to resume our
“In the Beginning” series on Sunday evenings soon. I’m getting some good com-
ments about this series. Plan to be here each Sunday night for the rest of 2013. You
will be surprised how much you’ll learn about Genesis 1-11 and how easy it is to
form a habit of being here every Sunday night. Not only will you grow closer to God,
you’ll grow closer to everyone here. Keep me in your prayers as I travel. I enjoy my
meetings away, but I always look forward to being back in the pulpit in Hartselle.
Area Wide Youth Devo Sunday Night
We host the Area-Wide Youth Devotional here Sunday night. We expect a building
full of visitors! It’s so good to have all these young people and adults! Dr. Alan
Walker will speak about Creation & Evolution Sunday night. I appreciate all of you
who gave money for pizza. Todd tells me you have given enough to cover the cost
and for a few more pizzas. He is still going to need some help Sunday. If you can
help, let Todd know or see Dawn Runager, who is running the kitchen.
Super Sunday, October 20!
Don’t forget! It will be a special day, so invite your family and friends to be here.
Also, we’ll have a special collection for our building loan principal! Don’t miss it!
Will you be here Sunday Morning AND Sunday Night? Phillip
THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY, THE PIZZA IS PAID FOR!
We still need bottled water, chips &
cookies for the Area Devo Here THIS Sunday night!

THANK YOU
Dear Church Family, I want to thank everyone for the phone calls, cards, food, concern and most of all the prayers. It has been a long journey but I am home and improving every day. There is nothing like having a supportive church family and I have a great one. Please continue to pray for me. In Christian Love, Beverly Summerford
I am very thankful for this Church and the continued prayers that are lifted up for my Father. Please continue to pray for God's peace and com-fort, and for discernment for my Father and Mother, as well as the doctors, during this difficult journey they are facing. In Him, Mike Brooks
(Lloyd Brooks, Mike’s father, is in treatment at Van-derbilt for leukemia, but is not a stem cell transplant candidate, so other treatment must be pursued. Please continue to pray for the Brooks family.)
